Section 3.02 NT TEAM UNIFORMS


3.01.01 GENERAL
Uniform must be worn for all Pony Club competitions, rallies and official functions. Any changes to existing colours must have the approval of PCANT Executive.
Uniforms must comply with the PCANT sun safe policy
Body protectors are optional and may be worn either under or over uniform.
See specific discipline rules for any variations for competition attire.

3.01.02 INFORMAL/RALLY UNIFORM
The informal uniform of a Pony Club consists of a tucked in shirt (with sleeves and collar) in Club colours, jodhpurs or jeans and short riding boots for riders under 17yrs, long boots are permissible for riders 17yrs and over if deemed safe.
Gaiters are only permitted if the rider is over 17 years of age as they are equivalent to a long boot. Chapettes are not permissible for any riders under 17 years.

3.01.03 FORMAL UNIFORM
The formal or competition uniform of a Pony Club consists of a long sleeved club shirt, club tie and short jodhpur boots. Only riders over 17 years are permitted to wear long boots.

3.01.04 RIDING BOOTS
The approved PCANT boots are either elastic sided jodhpurs boots, fully soled, or long equestrian boots. (Cuban heels are acceptable). Materials should preferably be leather although synthetics have approval. Soles should be smooth or slightly textured for grip.
Lace-up boots, either long or short, are not permitted.

3.01.05 SPURS
Only spurs without rowels are permitted. The neck of a dummy spur may not exceed 35mm in length and must not be under 7 mm at the point of the neck. The curve must be downwards.

3.01.06 HELMETS
Helmets conforming to current standard APC policy must be worn at all times when mounted and must be correctly adjusted and fitted. When a rider falls and hits their head, it is strongly recommended that the helmet be discarded immediately as it may be damaged. PCANT strongly discourages the purchase and use of second-hand helmets.

3.01.07 HAIR
Any rider with long hair must fasten it up neatly.

3.01.08 JEWELLERY
Watches and medical information bracelets may be worn. Any earrings and/or exposed jewellery e.g. Necklaces, Chains, Bracelets may not be worn. Facial piercing must be removed or taped.

Section 3.02 NT TEAM UNIFORMS
For interstate competition, members of NT teams shall wear the following uniform:
Riding Uniform: Beige Jodhpurs, White Shirt, NT Tie, Ochre Jumper with PCANT Emblem (sewn on left side), long or short boots depending on requirements.
Walking out uniform: Ochre Jumper, White Shirt
Girls: Black Skirt (Serviceable Type) or trousers with appropriate hosiery, NT Scarf
Boys: Black Trousers, NT Tie, white shirt
Informal Dress: NT tracksuit top with jeans, moleskins as organized by team coach.
NT Games Team Formal Attire - Black trousers/Skirt, NT Tie/Scarf, White Shirt or top
Walk Out Uniform - Black tracksuit bottoms, ochre, white and black sports top and similar coloured tracksuit top and vest
NT Games Competition - beige jodhpurs, Ochre, white and black polo style top
Informal dress - Ochre, black, white sports top with jeans or moleskins
