Section 2.01 MEMBERSHIP
2.01.01 JUNIOR MEMBER
A Junior Member is a rider under the age of 17 years.
2.01.02 ASSOCIATE MEMBER
An Associate Member is a rider 17 years of age or over and under the
age of 26 years.
2.01.03 ADULT PONY CLUB MEMBERS
A rider 26 years of age and over who wishes to join or remain with the
Club, will be known as an Adult Member and may not take part in any
Pony Club Competition, other than set down for this age group.
2.01.04 SOCIAL MEMBERS
Section 2.02 REGISTER
Each Club shall keep a register of all members (including Committee,
Instructors, etc.) which must show name, address and for riding members,
the date of birth. Clubs must keep a complete attendance roll for all
rallies.
Section 2.03 INTER CLUB TRANSFERS
All transfers within the NT must have a signed release form from the
club they are leaving, obtainable from all club secretaries. Release
forms are not required if changing clubs at the end of a financial membership,
i.e. between calendar years
For interstate transfers, a point of contact from the former club is
sufficient and no release form is required.
Section 2.04 ATTENDANCE QUALIFICATIONS
All competitors in NT and Regional Pony Club championships must be qualified.
It is necessary to attend 50% of rallies up to the date of the competition.
Members shall belong to one Club only, but when absent from their Home
Club for an appreciable time and by an appreciable distance, for example
through employment or studies, they may apply to become honorary members
of another Club and compete in that Club's competitions.
This will also apply to interstate members temporarily resident in the
Northern Territory.
Section 2.05 INSURANCE
All insurance monies must be fully paid before any rider mounts their
horse, whether it be full or day membership.
