Section 13.02 DRESS, SADDLERY AND EQUIPMENT
Refer to PCANT General Rules.
Whips and spurs are not permitted. If bandages are used, they must be sewn and have padding underneath. Boots must be properly secured.
Any change of gear without official approval will mean disqualification of the rider.

13.02.01 Uniform
Each team to wear their own uniform and saddlecloth. Normal Pony Club uniform applies, however the organising committee may authorise variations such as a team shirt in official Pony Club colours. A special team polo shirt in club colours is permitted.

Section 13.03 GAME RULES
There shall be eight games and a tie breaker. The tie breaker to be decided upon on the day by Team Managers in a secret draw.

Section 13.04 Equipment

Section 13.05 Teams
Clubs may field only one team. If a club has insufficient riders to make up a team, application may be made to field a composite team. Only one rider over the age of 17 permitted
In the event of injury to a horse or rider, the remaining 4 riders will take part in all remaining games

Section 13.06 Mounts
All mounts must belong to a member of the nominating club, unless approved by the organizing committee. Horses and ponies must be serviceably sound and in good condition. Manes and tails not to be plaited.

Section 13.07 Draw
A draw will be made before the start of the competition to assign starting lanes. Each team will move one lane to the right after the completion of two games

Section 13.08 Scoring
The winning team will be allocated 10 points, with two point increments down to 5th place

3rd 6
4th 4
5th 2
Any team not placed, but completing the game will be awarded one point. If a team is disqualified in a game, no points will be awarded for that game.

Section 13.09 Line stewards
Each club will appoint 2 line stewards for the duration of the competition
The judge will brief all line stewards prior to the commencement of the competition

Section 13.10 Judge
The judge will brief all stewards prior to the competition commencing.
The judge, in consultation with the line stewards will rule on infringements. It is the judge's responsibility to adjudicate on objections to decide upon eliminations and generally ensure the competition is run in accordance with the rules. He/she may, on their own initiative, "object" and take action on any matters which come to notice.
The judges decision is final, however matters of extreme contention must be referred to the disputes committee.

Section 13.11 BAKER SHEILD COMPETITION
The scores from presentation counts towards the final result

Section 13.12 INDIVIDUAL MOUNTED GAMES
Individual Mounted Games will be run under Novelty Riders Association rules except for dress and saddlery.
