About the Squad:
The PCANT development squads were established in 2009, with the aim of providing our up-and-coming riders with intensive training in show jumping, dressage or mounted games. Our ultimate aim is to develop a team of riders to represent the NT at the PCA National Championships.
This would be a great achievement for PCANT riders, however it is not easy. There is plenty of fundraising required, as well as skills training to ensure both horse and rider are prepared to face the national stage.
The mounted games squad will be taking on new riders in 2012, under the skilled and highly experienced guidance of Ros Beckhouse. If you would like more information about the Prince Philip Mounted Games squad, please contact Ros Beckhouse: Rosalyn.Beckhouse@nt.gov.au
For now the dressage and show jumping squads are not active, as we await the next enthusiastic coach/coordinator to take on the demanding and highly rewarding task of guiding our riders to the national stage.
