This certificate encourages more rider control and the development of a more secure seat, including a small jump. This certificate is optional, that is it is not a pre-requisite for subsequent certificate examinations. However, it provides a good bridge between D and C certificates, particularly for younger riders.
D and D* examinations may be taken in conjunction with one another.
