CERTIFICATE OVERVIEW:
This certificate is intended to encourage an emphasis on 'feel' in riding, including maintaining a consistant contact through the reins, a more confident use of the seat aid, as well as ease of judgement of correct diagonals and canter leads. The rider should also be developing a stable jumping/forward position, including keeping the lower leg still over small jumps (maximum height 70cm).
Pony Club riders wishing to nominate for a state team in any discipline must hold their C Certificate.
Written Examination: The written exam may cover any of the topics covered in the check list below. Often if a subject is covered in the exam paper the topic will not have to be covered again during practical examination.
