For many years now Ros Beckhouse has been the hardworking and exceptionally dedicated games coach, taking many teams away to National competitions and developing NT riders to an International standard - including Jessica Pen Dennis who recently represented Australia at the International Mounted Games Championships, taking out a silver medal overall.
The Games development program begins early in the year. No games expereince is required, although it is preferred that you hold your C Certificate before you nominate. A training schedule is devised, with training sessions held in both the Darwin and Katherine regions. Later in the year a talent squad is selected, and from these riders a team of four riders and one reserve is selected. The NT has often representatives in both the Junior and Senior titles.
